Terms of use

Effective August 19, 2026. By using pfmlcalculator.com you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use the site.

What this site provides

pfmlcalculator.com is a free calculator that estimates statutory paid family and medical leave premiums from publicly published state rates, together with editorial guides about how those programs work. It is provided by Treesera Technologies.

Not affiliated with any government

pfmlcalculator.com is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any state agency or the U.S. government.

We cannot access your account, claim or filing with any agency, and we cannot act on your behalf. Registrations, filings, payments, claims and appeals all go to the administering agency directly.

Estimates, not advice

Output from this calculator is an estimate produced by applying published rates to figures you supply. It is not legal, tax, accounting or financial advice, and it does not create a professional relationship of any kind.

Do not file, remit or budget against these figures without confirming current rates with the relevant state agency. Every state page links to the agency and shows when the figure was last verified. Statutory rates change, usually each January, and can change mid-year by legislation.

The methodology page sets out the known limitations of the calculation, including where it deliberately does not model something. Read it before relying on a figure for anything consequential.

Accuracy and warranties

We take accuracy seriously — every rate is sourced from the administering agency and carries a verification date, and the rules engine is covered by a test suite that must pass before the site deploys. Even so, the site is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

If you find an error, please tell us.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Treesera Technologies is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use this site — including any decision made in reliance on a figure produced by the calculator.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us to use this site, which is zero, or USD 100.

Acceptable use

You may use this site for your own business or personal purposes. You may not:

  • scrape or bulk-download the site to reproduce the rate dataset as a competing product
  • present output from this site as your own professional advice to a client without independent verification
  • attempt to interfere with the site’s operation, security or availability
  • imply endorsement by, or affiliation with, this site or any government agency

Quoting a figure with attribution and a link is welcome and needs no permission.

Intellectual property

The statutory rates themselves are public facts and nobody owns them. The compilation, the calculation logic, the written guides and the design of this site are ours, and are protected by copyright.

Third parties

Links to state agencies and other sites are provided for reference. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content. If you are introduced to a payroll or benefits provider through our quote form, any resulting arrangement is between you and them; we are not a party to it and do not endorse any particular provider’s advice.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the effective date at the top will change when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here limits any consumer right you have under the mandatory law of your own jurisdiction.
